_How we work

We are often asked to look at a roof to determine the cause of a problem.  We inspect it to see what has gone wrong and always give an honest judgement of the state of the roof.  It may be that it has come to the end of its natural life or else it may just need repairs to part of it.  We advise what the options are and are then guided by what the customer would like to do next.

When we are asked to re-roof or put a new roof on a building we meet the customer on site to look at and assess each job.  If the roof is for a new building or extension we take copies of any plans or bills of quantities.  We then give a free estimate for the works. 

It is often difficult when pricing a repair or re-roof project to determine the state of the underlying timberwork.  It may or may not need replacing and is only truly known once the roof has been stripped.  We always make it clear on our estimates what is and is not included and give an hourly rate for any extra works.  However, we always consult the customer before we undertake any such additional work.

Throughout the project we keep the site clean and tidy and are sympathetic to the needs of the customer and respectful of the property.  When the project is finished we thoroughly clean and tidy up the site, removing any rubbish.
